One of the major downfalls of installing aftermarket AV equipment in your car is the loss of functionality of the steering wheel controls.

Severing the connections makes the steering wheel switches inoperable and takes away the comfort and convenience of controlling your audio equipment without taking your hands off the wheel or your eyes off the road.

Many of our customers have requested a way to interface their aftermarket AV equipment with their factory steering wheel controls.

This kit allows any car audio/visual equipment with IR based remote control capability to interface with your stock steering wheel controls and brings back the convenience and safety of controlling your AV equipment using the controls on the steering wheel.

This interface works with the Mazda3, Mazda6, MPV, Tribute, and  RX8. Other Mazda's use a different unit, which we also offer.

This adapter is not compatible with Sony or JVC car A/V equipment.
