Kanatechs Stereo Install Kit For 2008+ MINI

This kit is for Single DIN aftermarket A/V receiver only. Double DIN installation requires an additional kit which has not been fully developed for North America.  

 NOTICE: The CAN-BUS version is recommended for car navigation system.

NOTICE: This kit was designed for Mini with auto climate control. Testing has been successful in mini with manual climate control but the kit must be modified slightly for fitment and there is four open holes in the panel under climate controls.

Installation Notes:

• Car models with the Factory optional Harman/Kardon HI-FI system, MINI HI-FI round speakers system, or that have a navigation system have not been tested.
• Car models with the factory optional "alarm system (security) " have not been tested.
• When installing in a car with PDC（Park Distance Control system）, additional parts are necessary.
• Factory audio becomes inoperable, but is still in place. The volume control, ON/OFF dial, and CD loading slot cease to function and are hidden by a cover.
• Display indicators: power supply, ON, AUX., do not to function. 
• The factory audio steering sheel controls do not function.
• A speaker is included with the kit so that factory chimes are retained.
• Installation of this kit upgrades standby current to 100mA maximum with the included sleep mode relay. Some aftermarket receivers require standby current to retain 'memory'.
